Absolutely delighted with this article in the Eastern Daily Press today. Firstly because it is such a positive story about Thetford, which is always a welcomed thing, and secondly because it is a positive thing about young people generally and the Thetford Community Association's Football Coaching project. This is something that I have co-ordinated on a self employed basis since February 2009. It really is a fantastic project - in the past 12 months alone we have delivered over 100 football coaching sessions that have seen in excess of 1,000 attendances by young people. There are 180 young people on the books as members and we have several people volunteering on a regular basis. The funding for this very worthwhile project unfortunately expires in the next few months and the absolute priority now is finding additional funding to keep it all going.
